Amy Bell – Database and Finance Manager
Amy began her professional career in an entry-level position with United Way of the Capital Region in Harrisburg, PA. She was quickly asked to assume more responsibility following her employment, and the new position of Administrative Assistant of Finance and Supportive Services was developed for Amy. While maintaining her responsibility of entering giving information of donors’ contributions during the annual campaign, she was also given the opportunity to work with the CFC (Combined Federal Campaign) and the SECA (State Employee Combined Appeal) campaigns. In this role, Amy saw the need to create a centralized filing system, which would identify non-profit agencies’ participation in multiple campaigns, thus saving hours of repetitive paperwork submissions.

In July of 2001, Amy assumed the role of Office Manager as Calabrese Management, Inc., under the leadership of Denise Calabrese, whom she had worked with at United Way. She soon advanced in areas of responsibility and assumed the position of Database & Financial Manager, where she oversees the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable aspects of all clients, as well as overseeing the data entry of each association’s databases. Amy supervises the Certification Coordinator, Administrative Assistant and Receptionist within Calabrese Management. She also works closely with any contracted accountants on financial issues and tax preparation, and consults on a regular basis with the volunteer Treasurers.

Amy currently resides in Mechanicsburg, PA with her husband Keith.
